  • Dress code: No swim wear/clothing permitted.  You are welcome to borrow a bath robe.
  • The following applies to the sauna: Avoid sweat on the timber surfaces! Please cover the seats with your bathing or sauna towel.
  • Sauna kilt: You are welcome to wear a sauna kilt in the sauna. Kilts can be borrowed at the information desk of the thermal bath.

For the ultimate sauna experience, our sauna masters swing their towel several times a day or invite you on a scented journey. Glacier ice, mountain honey, Swiss stone pine magic or salt peeling? Find out when and where you can indulge in an infusion with the current infusion schedule.

LOFT SAUNA

The rustic loft sauna constructed of solid beams and stone formations of the Ötztal mountain world absorbs the elements of nature. In this authentic ambience, infusions are prepared every half and full hour.

GORGE SAUNA

Our infusion sauna with a central fireplace and an open panoramic view: Savour the peace and tranquillity and admire the magnificent view of a typical Ötztal gorge. Then get out into the fresh air, cool off in the outdoor pool and enjoy a warm foot bath afterwards.

Stone sauna

Surrounded by stone slabs in earth tones, you can sweat in this Finnish sauna, while enjoying regular automatic infusions. The aromas range from orange and eucalyptus to mountain pine and alpine herbs. Automatic puffs of air intensify the infusion, while discreet background music promotes relaxation. Perfect: After each infusion, the room is aired out.

HEUSTADL SAUNA

Hay is the highlight: In this sauna with its rustic Tyrolean charm, precious essential oils from the hay in the crib unfold and have a soothing effect on your body and soul. The old wooden beams and traditional stable lamps spread a homely warm atmosphere.

BRINE STEAM BATH

The brine steam bath made of grey stone, covered with a beam ceiling has a calming effect on the airways and soothes irritated skin. The delightful play of lights contributes to deep relaxation. After the steam-bath, the brine grotto with the salt water pool entices you to take a cooling plunge.

STEAM DOME

Noble design, shaped from white and black marble: The steam treatment has a detoxifying effect on the body and gently opens the airways. Treatments with salt from the Dead sea with essential oils, a yoghurt massage or honey peeling provide a special sense of well-being.

Swiss stone pine warmth

The “Zirbenwärme” resting area has an irresistible smell of Swiss stone pine. You will be pampered on relaxing floating loungers and warmed with infra-red light. Surrounded by Swiss stone pine wood, calming music and the enticing smell of the “Queen of the Alps”, alias the Swiss stone pine.

Our 20-meter long outdoor pool - a refreshing swimming sensation! A pleasant way of rounding off a hot sauna session: Glide gently through 34°C warm pure thermal water, the magnificent mountainscape right before your eyes.

DIVING POOL

Dive into the 13°C to 14°C chilling plunge pool. Crystal clear and perfectly refreshed, it feels like in a mountain stream or a Finnish fjord. The ice-cold immersion after a hot sauna session is a great stimulation for the cardiovascular system.

BRINE GROTTO

In warm brine at 32°- 36° C, you inhale valuable minerals, such as iodine, magnesium, calcium and potassium with every breath. Soothing lighting and meditative music enhance your well-being in a healthy environment of the grotto.

We get the relaxation for you in the greenery of the AQUA DOME! You’ll find marvelous relaxation in the natural garden: warm sunlight, clear lines and wooden floors, delicate poppy-red on the walls, and large pots with dragon trees and lucky bamboo provide harmonious soothing. Settle in to one of the 12 lounge chairs. Enjoy the mountain view, browse through a book, or just let your mind wander.

Swiss stone pine warmth

In our “Zirbenwärme” relaxation area, we offer 10 high-quality, ergonomically shaped infrared loungers. Surrounded by stone pine wood, calming background music and the irresistible scent of Swiss stone pines, you can lean back and replenish your energy. The “Queen of the Alps” with her unmistakable fragrance is not only beneficial for the human organism but also enhances your well-being. We recommend a session of about 20 – 25 minutes.

Fresh air and a marvelous alpine panorama: We bring the Ötztal Mountains to you in the AQUA DOME: Relax on our idyllic terrace or in our well-tended garden. The protected seating areas blend harmoniously with the landscape. They offer space for 80 to 100 people. Become one with nature.

MOUNTAIN IMPRESSIONS

The mountain is calling! Here, the wood and natural colors set the tone. Pictures of the Ötztal Mountains and fresh mineral springs round out the cozy alpine ambience. You’ll find peace and relaxation among the 20 waterbeds that adapt comfortably to your body and give you pleasant warmth after a lavish bath. The adjustable reading lamps provide true luxury, and you can browse through books in calmness. For those who prefer to not have it so soft, there are 15 lounge chairs to stretch out on.

What should you bring to the sauna?

You should bring the following things with you: Bathrobe, bathing slippers, sauna towel and one or two small towels, as well as body care products. Bathrobes and towels are available from us on request for a small fee. The sauna world is a garment-free zone. You may need a swimming costume or bikini for the thermal bath. For the rest periods, bring a pair of snug socks for warm feet and a good book.
